MISSION STATEMENT

The Wayne County Economic Development Authority, Inc. (WCEDA) was established to:

Promote, develop and expand all types of business and industrial activity.

Advance and maintain the economic basis of Wayne County.

Provide opportunities for employment and improvements for residents

Improve the standard of living for the citizens of Wayne County.

WHO WE ARE

The Wayne County Economic Development Authority was created by the Wayne County Commission in 1993 to serve the county by cultivating new economic opportunities. Today our board and staff are comprised of local leaders with a vast spectrum of business, public service, and other work experience.  We exist to foster economic growth and build strong communities in Wayne County and beyond.
